Born Dec. 27, 1931 in Troy, N.Y. Was automotive illustrator at the former UHV Automobilist from 1951-1963. His artwork was also published in Esquire and True magazines, and other journals and books. His interest in the history of fire-fighting apparatus and self-propelled vehicles made him an expert on the American LaFrance Fire Engine Company.
